A Journey into the Wild: Duba Plains
Get up-close-and-personal and discover the wow of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. This is a chance to safari your way—4X4 game drives, walking safaris, gliding in a mokoro canoe, and boating the flooded waterways.
The Mystical Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
Prepare to be surprised! From quad biking over salty crust, to mingling with meerkats, to insight into the rich cultural heritage of San Bushmen, to games drives and the most awesome stargazing, this surreal locale is a must!

Rhinos Without Borders

Rhinos Without Borders was an inspired solution to the grave decline in rhino population. In 2014, two leading conservation and tourism companies:  Great Plains Conservation and &Beyond teamed up to relocate rhinos from South Africa to Botswana aiming to create a new viable breeding population. At completion of the eight-year partnership, they have deemed this project successful with a total of 62 births!
Today, Great Plains Conservation remains a steward of this project, and you can learn all about it during a stay at Duba Plains.

When to Travel
Whether you are exploring the expanse of the Okavango Delta, cruising the Chobe River, or walking in the stark Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana offers a wealth of natural wonders year round.
  • Jan-Feb: Expect tropical rains and benefit from excellent birding and photography opportunities
  • Mar-Apr: Weather is temperate during the shoulder season and wildlife is ample and easy to track
  • May-Oct: Winters are dry with short grass and wildlife concentrated at water sources (the Okavango floods in May/June)—the busiest season for visitors
  • Nov-Dec: Light rains begin bringing relief from building heat and wildlife is active during the day.
