Rhinos Without Borders was an inspired solution to the grave decline in rhino population. In 2014, two leading conservation and tourism companies: Great Plains Conservation and &Beyond teamed up to relocate rhinos from South Africa to Botswana aiming to create a new viable breeding population. At completion of the eight-year partnership, they have deemed this project successful with a total of 62 births!
Today, Great Plains Conservation remains a steward of this project, and you can learn all about it during a stay at Duba Plains.
Whether you are exploring the expanse of the Okavango Delta, cruising the Chobe River, or walking in the stark Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana offers a wealth of natural wonders year round.
